Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI) was established when Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) was officially awarded University College status by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, in 2004. Prime Minister’s Award for APU
The APIIT Education Group received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Industry Excellence Award from the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak. Only one organization was selected to receive the Prime Minister’s Industry Excellence Award from among nearly 30 other award recipients in 8 different categories. A main point of contact and base for students requiring information and assistance, Student Services is a one-stop centre where questions about UCTI courses, policies, procedures, services and events can be obtained.
To ensure that you get the best out of you life at UCTI, we offer course counselling to help you with making decision on your academic pathways. Our Student Services Executives will explain the courses offered at UCTI, guide you through enrolment, and provide information on course admission, fees, scholarships, loan application, etc.
To ensure that our students get the best out of their life at UCTI, we offer personal counselling services geared towards helping you with academic concerns as well as emotional matters. ‘You can be assured that all counselling is done in a safe and confidential environment by qualified counsellors. UCTI has vibrant community of students from over 60 countries.We have students from Asia, Central Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Oceania. Our International Students Support Centre helps you with the procedure to apply for your Student Pass before coming here. Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, we will send someone from UCTI to pick you up from the airport and bring you to campus. Our career support centre manages a job placement service and connects our students profiles to a number of prospective employers. In addition, career talks, resume building workshops, career path consultation and career interview sessions are regularly conducted on campus to provide you with quality career support and guidance. In 2008, over 98% of our graduates were employed by graduation.
When you go into higher education, you are making an investment in your future. However you need to make sure that you have the funding to support you throughout your university years. We will assist you with applying for financial aid, scholarships, loans, and how to supplement your income by working while studying. For international students, we will also help you to open your banking account with a local bank when you arrive here.
We provide assistance to students who wish to transfer into the second year or final year degree programmes with collaborating universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Briefings and counselling seminars are held regularly by representatives from respective universities.

Students at UCTI have the opportunity to work alongside with the staff of the University when it comes to dealings in Student Services and Marketing. These students are known as our Student Ambassadors. Those who are selected gets hands-on experiences in working with people of diverse culture, inducing a corporate working environment in their mindset even before graduation.

Classrooms equipped for study. All classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with audio-visual, media and computing facilities to support learning in class.
Our library is a gateway to a comprehensive collection of books, journals, periodicals, student projects and other related publications to support learning and research for all students and staff. In addition, you can access online digital libraries from leading providers such as Proquest, Emerald, ACM and Current Law Journals. The library also houses areas for individual and group study, computer facilities and a photocopying facility. The library is open on Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
All students have access to state-of-the-art computer facilities that include the latest PCs and workstations with Internet connection, operating systems, software suites and commercial programming software in multiple IT labs built for project work, multimedia production, software and internet programming. Furthermore, all around the campus you will have access to wireless Internet so you can learn anywhere, anytime.
Popularly considered the best food outlet in the whole Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) complex, our cafeteria serves a wide range of halal Asian and western food. It is located on the ground floor adjoining the social space and is frequently patronised by employees from our neighbourhood companies in TPM.

“More than just a roof @ APU!”
There are many options on housing while you study in Kuala Lumpur. Our Student Services provides accommodation services to help you make the right choice and find the accommodation you want. The university-managed accommodation is only for APU students and students coming with their family members need to opt for private accommodation, our staff would assist you to give you contact numbers of property agents.
Students from other states and countries may stay in the university-managed accommodation or arrange a private rental accommodation in apartments near campus.

APU provides fully-managed accommodation at a number of apartment buildings close to the campus, including Academia, Vista Komanwel, Fortune Park, Endah Promenade and Covillea Condominiums. You will have access to condominium facilities such as cafeteria, swimming pool, laundrette, convenience stores and a 24-hour security coverage. Students stay in the apartments where they occupy rooms on single, twin or triple sharing basis and have access to kitchen facilities and common area. Each apartment has 3 to 6 bedrooms with a living room.
Rental for each student ranges between RM250 to RM1840 per month, depending on the room size and facilities provided. The rooms are lent to students on single or twin sharing basis. Upon check-in to the accommodation students are advised to pay 2-month deposit and 1-month rental with respective cover charges. Note that rental rates may change from time to time. APU covers utility bills up to RM250 (USD 78) per month per apartment only for all Deluxe, Premium, Super Premium and Superior Apartments (excluding Standard Apartment).Students in Standard Apartments will pay for utilities on ‘Pay as you use’ basis.

How do I apply for this accommodation?

You can also download and fill in the Accommodation Form and then send it to us via email.
Please note that room sizes are available on a first come, first served basis.
APU provides a free shuttle bus service from the accommodation which leaves on half-hourly basis. Please be sure to show your transport card to the bus driver to use the service.
Besides our managed accommodation, you can arrange your accommodation in privately owned houses and apartments. Unless you have your friends or relatives who have already prepared for your accommodation, you must come to KL at least 2 or 3 weeks before your course starts, because looking for a suitable place to stay could be tedious and time-consuming.
You have the options to share a room with someone, rent a single room to yourself, or rent a house or an apartment and share it with your friends.
Students staying in the university managed accommodation are responsible for all items within the apartments and would pay for any damages during their stay.
Students should respect the other occupant’s privacy and do not make excessive noise or hold gathering in the units and facilities in the apartments without prior approval from the University.
No visitors should be in the accommodation after 10 PM and smoking and alcohol are prohibited at all times.
