Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College (Sime Darby College) is one of the pioneers in healthcare education in Malaysia. The College was established in 1995 and is registered as a Higher Eduation Provider with the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. The programmes offered by Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College are approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, an accrediting body appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College students gain practical training at Sime Darby’s very own multiple award-winning Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya.
Established in 1985, the Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya is a tertiary-care hospital with 393 beds and 14 operating theatres, has a staff of 170 physicians and surgeons and 650 nurses.
Offering all major specialties, the SDMC Subang Jaya hospital management and staff pride themselves on the use of revolutionary medical technologies and their international reputation for clinical excellence. As a result, SDMC Subang Jaya is among top referred hospitals of choice in Malaysia for blood and marrow transplants, cancer treatment, computer-assisted joint replacement, comprehensive epilepsy management and minimally invasive surgeries.
In 2009, Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya earned accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI), making it the first hospital in Selangor to meet international health care quality standards for patient care and organisation management.
In addition to achieving the JCI accreditation, Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya also attained accreditation for its medical laboratory in October under the MS ISO 15189 standards for quality and competence. The Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 15189 published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The accreditation granted to the hospital’s laboratory covers medical testing in the disciplines of cytogenetics, chemical pathology, haematology, histopathology, medical microbiology and virology. Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya’s laboratory is also the first centre to be accredited to MS ISO 15189 for Cytogenetics.
SDMC Subang Jaya’s Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Center is a major regional referral center for diagnosing and treating illnesses in the fields of cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, and oncology. The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Center combines a specialized branch of radiology with new catheterization and imaging technologies to enable precise diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of blood vessel disorders and diseases of the internal organs. Accident, emergency, and outpatient services operate 24/7 and are staffed by a medical officer and teams of experienced nurses.
