MEST provides a logical progression for BES graduates and equivalent English graduates to read for a postgraduate degree in English. MES is also sufficiently flexible to cater to qualified learners with non-BES/English backgrounds via OUM’s Open Entry route.
Entry Requirements
Normal Entry
- Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the Government.
Flexible Entry
- Be at least 35 years old on 1st of January (application year) AND
- Possess STPM/HSC (minimum 1 principal) OR
- Recognised Diploma or equivalent AND
- Passed Flexible Entry Assessment; AND
- Possess prior learning experience AND / OR knowledge relevant to the programme applied.
