Medical Courses run for 5 years. In the first 2 years of pre-clinical years, while the third, the fourth and final is the final clinical stage.
The first session was based on the integration of curriculum-organ system. Human behavior and ethics, methods of inquiry and critical thinking are part of the subject. Problem solving and independent learning strategies are emphasized.
Phase One of the junior clerkship emphasizes acceptance of basic clinical skills. The second phase focuses on the use of basic clinical skills on clinical matters. The third phase of a merger or senior clerkship and expert clinical skills base where students will be responsible for some aspects of patient care under their supervision.
Public health that emphasizes rural health is taught in the five year program. Aside from the placement of rural health for eight weeks and eight weeks placement in district hospitals to emphasize primary care, students are encouraged to choose elective community projects for the five-week placement.
After successfully completing the medical course is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) is given.
