The Certificate in English Program (CEP) is a one year English program designed for those who wish:
• To improve their speaking and communication skills
• To improve their reading and writing skills
• To improve their knowledge of the English grammar and spelling
• To gain a better understanding of the English language
• To be able to interact and socialize properly and accurately in English
• To continue their education abroad
• To seek employment at a foreign company
• To migrate to an English speaking country
• To take the IELTS examination
The IELTS or the International English Language Testing System is designed to assess the language ability and proficiency of non-native speakers who wish to study or work in a country where English is the first language or the language of communication and interaction. IELTS is jointly managed by the Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IELTS Australia and conforms to the highest international standard of English which tests the students’ knowledge about the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
This examination is taken by over 1.4 million candidates each year who wish to continue their studies abroad or to kick start their international career and employment. It is recognized by Universities and employers around the world including Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, New Zealand and is also recognized by professional bodies, immigration authorities and government agencies around the world. The IELTS score ranges between 1 to 9. Most Colleges, Universities and government agencies demand and require a score between 6 to 7 which students can easily achieve by participating in our Certificate in English Program where they are familiarized with the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) with the help of our professional lecturers who have high qualifications with many years teaching experience.
Anyone who wishes to participate in the English language program is required to take the English placement test, which is free of charge. Based on the mark that each individual receives, they will be placed in one of the following level of study.
