This program is structured with a comprehensive of basic bioscience subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Microbiology as well as Pharmaceutical Technology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy. The curriculum also includes elective subjects such as geriatric pharmacy, veterinary pharmacy, drug modelling, pharmacoeconomics and alternative medicine. In addition to the technical subjects, students are also required to enrol in University courses in the humanities and English. Upon successful completion of the University programme, graduates have to undergo pupilage for 12 months in a government or private hospital or any pharmaceutical industry or pharmacy retail outlet recognized by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia, they also have to attach to the government hospital for stipulated time and also pass the Forensic Examination conducted by the Board before they are allowed to provisionally register and practise in the country. Assessment Assessment is a combination of written examinations, industrial training and reports or presentations on project work. Duration 4 Years Full-time
