The BSc (Hons) in Management of Technology (MOT) aims to produces Technical Managers out of graduates who already have specialized skills in a technical area such as engineering, biotechnology, material technology, IT etc. These graduates would be put through a rigorous programme to master management, leadership and entrepreneurship skills in order for them to fit into the job market as managers and CEOs of the future. The entrepreneurship skills will augur well for those who intend to start their own business later.
As their careers progress, MOT graduates will be better prepared for success as they have ability to understand financial reports, interpret statistical data, organize and effectively lead a team, analyze and correct problems in the firm’s operations, and understand the dynamics of the marketplace.
Students must have a minimum of 2 principals passes in the STPM /2 ‘A’ Levels / Foundation / SAM to enter the BSc (Hons) in Management of Technology.
