The world of animation has diversified from film, TV, games and entertainment sectors to many other industries. Digital animation is used for advanced training, simulation and planning programmes, medical diagnosis, interactive learning and architectural virtual walkthrough. Increasingly works from advanced countries are being outsourced to countries like Malaysia.
The evergrowing animation industry has made headway into markets represented by the various fields of research such as behavioral analysis, architectural visualisation, and now, even in digital filmmaking. These are among the areas covered in the design practice.
The BA (Hons) in Animation explores the fundamental aspects of animation using contemporary approaches. This course will equip the graduates with the fundamentals and principles of classical animation, which will serve as a solid foundation for every type, kind and style of animation.
