By its very nature, a research degree is an individual pursuit. As such research students will be expected to design and develop their own research strategies, pursue original lines of thought and present novel research findings. In this way, every PhD candidate will create a singular piece of research that will make a significant contribution to their own personal and career development. This research will also be expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge at the Business School, helping us to sustain a stimulating research culture.
