The School of Nursing aims to diversify the nursing programmed so as to be competitive in nursing education. Nursing education has recently become increasingly prominent for aspiring candidate of higher learning & there is an urgent need to fill up the vacuum in the nursing profession with the higher academic qualification.
Aims of the Course
- The course aims to assist learners to develop professionally, to respond effectively to the challenges of changes within health care and to consolidate their role as nursing leader.
- The courses would produce graduates, which are able to function as professional nursing leader and will be equipped to respond to an increasing complex health care environment.
- To create competent nursing leader in Malaysia so as to be more effective and efficient.
- To contribute to the nursing profession by upgrading their nursing leadership and professional skills.
Entry Requirements
Normal Entry
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, AND
- Registered with Nursing Board; AND
- Possess current certificate in annual practice, AND
- Possess minimum 3 years working experience.
