The Master of Counselling (MC) degree is designed:
- to produce graduates with professional knowledge in counseling;
- to prepare high quality counsellors to serve in public, private, NGO and community;
- at least 3 years of related working experience.
- to train more qualified counsellors according to the standard and requirement of Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia, in aims contribute towards harmony and well being of society;
- to be able to conduct counselling sessions ethically and professionally using established model and technique in the counseling field;
- to possess interviewing skills and assessment techniques and applications;
- to be able to apply theory and the principles of counseling.
Entry Requirements
Normal Entry
- Bachelor’s Degree with honours in any field; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field AND with at least 2 years of working experiences in related field; OR
- Any qualifications recognized by Government.
