GCM5333 | International Trade & Business | This course discusses trade and business in the global context and the challenges they faced in ever changing political, economic and technological environments; the development of multinational enterprise and foreign direct investment and their effects on the host country’s economy and multinational firms (cases of China and India); economic grouping and integration (NAFTA and EU), and the costs and benefits of this integrative arrangement; the impact of cultural differences on international business networking. |
GCM5243 | Supply Chain and Logistics Management | The equip students with the knowledge of concepts, theretical and practical developments of logistics and supply chain management. The course takes new developments in the field into consideration, in particular the role and the impact of new technological applications like e-commerce in logistics and supply chain. |
GCM5233 | Corporate Finance | This course will expose students to the basic principles of financial management and its application in managerial financial decisions. Its structure will emphasize on the scope of corporate finance which include financial markets, financial statement analysis, financial planning and forecasting, profile of risk and return, time value of money, valuation of shares and bonds, capital budgeting and risk management. |
