Program Aims
The Binary University MBA aims to produce industry-specialist professionals who possess the following:
- A thorough understanding of general management

- Hands-on knowledge of local government ministries and agencies that is responsible for the development of that industry.

- The entrepreneurial and leadership skills needed to drive an organization beyond the ordinary.
An Accredited MBA
The Binary MBA is a fully accredited MBA by the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA) and offers student the opportunity to become an industry specialist graduate in oil and gas, tourism, green technology, telecommunication, event management and many more.

Part time student study one module at a time, thus making it flexible enough to be pursued while meeting other commitments. Duration:

Industry Specialization
Thousand of fresh graduates pursue an MBA with the hope of moving up the corporate ladder to occupy top management positions. Many do not get there because they fall short when it comes to exhibiting a profound knowledge of the specific industry in which their firm operates. Having all the management knowledge and leadership skill will come to naught when one lacks the industry – specific knowledge necessary to lead a firm to extraordinary levels.
Student may choose to specialize in any one of the industries you have special interest in (subject to the availabilitiy of a project supervisor); this MBA programme give you the opportunity :
- To update yourselves with the strategic issues at regional/global level

Research Centres
There are 4 research centers at Binary University:
- ASIA CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP (ACE)
Focuses on conducting primary research and training in the areas of entrepreneurship including small-medium enterprise development in Malaysia and Asia. The main thrust is on ‘Asian Entrepreneurship.’ Comparative studies are encouraged to add value to the vast research literature on entrepreneurship and small-medium enterprise development that has been carried out worldwide.
- CENTER FOR WOMEN LEADERSHIP
Women throughout the world have been achieving great business success, both in the corporate environment and in entrepreneurship over the past two decades. This Research Center focuses on women in leadership roles and women in entrepreneurship in Asia. Primary research to study successful women leaders and women entrepreneurs in the country is encouraged. The objective is to encourage and support more women leaders in the country / Asia. Comparative studies will highlight women managers and women entrepreneurs in Asia.
- CENTRE FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP (CSE)
CSE aims to nurture entrepreneurs, businesses and voluntary organizations to explore and implement pragmatic and sustainable solutions based on the values and principles of social entrepreneurship and social enterprise. CSE also promotes social entrepreneurship and social enterprise through research, publications, training programs and networking at national, regional and international levels.
- CENTRE FOR ADVANCEMENT OF MANAGEMENT (CAM)
CAM aims to connect SME’s, professionals and students to work together as a team to solve market oriented problems using innovative and creative approaches. Amongst the activities of CAM are developing marketing solutions to help SMEs, sharing of research materials, equipping SMEs with best practices and through seminars and workshops that would benefit them.
Teaching Methodology
The Binary MBA programme draws on the unparalleled expertise of Harvard Business School by extensively using case studies developed by Harvard. The Case Study method will place participants in similar positions as that of CEOs / managers and will require them to analyze real problems, formulate options and solutions involving actual management situations. Participants forced to challenge conventional wisdom, often come up with innovative and creative solutions.
