Objectives

The Foundation Programme in Business Administration is designed to:

Programme Aims

• To prepare students with a sound basis for progression to the undergraduate business programmes in UNIRAZAK.
• To produce students with basic knowledge and analytical skills in business management.
• To produce students who are equipped with adequate soft skills
• To produce students who have morals, values and ethics.

Programme Learning Outcomes

At the end of the programme, graduates would be able to:

• Acquire fundamental knowledge in business management.
• Demonstrate English language and study skills for undergraduate studies.
• Articulate and present ideas orally and in writing to a given audience.
• Engage in lifelong learning and skills development.
• Demonstrate morals, values and ethics when performing duties.

Why study in UNIRAZAK

The program is the foundation for the Business Administration Bachelor Degree. Graduates of this programme are expected to pursue their bachelor degree in Entrepreneurship, Islamic Banking, Islamic Financial Planning, Accounting, Insurance or Taxation. This programme is specifically designed for full-time students. Students with only SPM or ‘O’ level or similar qualifications are required to complete 50 credit hours of the Foundation Programme for Business Administration.

This Foundation programme offers courses which provide students with basic skills such as Practical and Social skills, Ethics, Professionalism and Humanities, Communication, Leadership and Team skills, Scientific Methods, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills, Lifelong Learning and Information Management, Entrepreneurship and Managerial skills.

The courses in this Foundation programme are conducted by UNIRAZAK’s dedicated and experienced academic staff, who continuously motivate and inspire students to become excellent academic performers

Requirements

• Pass SPM with 5 credits or
• Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government.
