Programme Description

Digital Animation is a 3-year course comprising 9 semesters. The first year of your diploma programme will comprise Art & Design Fundamental Studies and 2 semesters of comprehensive training to build a strong foundation in art and design. Your confidence and knowledge will expand as you study art and design sense, the history and theories of art appreciation, communication skills and technical knowledge in varying disciplines geared towards your major and next two years of studies. While majoring, you will bring your wildest creations to life using digital technology, modeling and animation principles. Our students are trained using Autodesk, the Maya program best known for its part in creating the special computer effects for blockbusters such as Lord of the Rings, Shrek, The Mummy, Ice Age and many more. You will be able to create imagery and special effects for film, television commercials, long-form animation, interaction and video games.

This course is available at both the Sunway and Penang campuses.
