Programme Description
Academic Concept
It is a four years degree programme after successful completion of IIUM’s matriculation programme. While the emphasis of the matriculation programme is in preparing the students with SPM with language skills (English and Arabic), it also provides them with basic foundation on environmental design fields. STPM AND GCE ‘A’ Level applicants need to complete a pre-sessional semester before entering the programme

Practical training
Students have to undergo a practical training of 10 weeks at a public or private planning organization recommended by the department.

Entry Requirements
Admission Requirements
- 3 Principals passes in th STPM, obtained in one sitting, OR
- 3 Principals passes in the GCE ‘A’ Level, obtained in one sitting, OR
- Any other certificate recognized bt the Senate of IIUm as equivalent to the above
Language Requirements
Satisfactory proof of Proficiency of English language with either:
- Test of English as foreign language (TOEFL) with minimum score of 550 OR
- International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) with minimum score of 6.0 OR
- IIUM administered English Placement Test (EPT) with a minimum score of 6.0 OR
- Provide proof of attendance or prior education in English-medium institutions that may be exempted from the requirements of TOEFL, IELTS, and EPT at the discretion of the Postgraduate Admission Committee
