Overview
Industrial Psychology is a branch of psychology that was created for business, corporations, and organisations that needed more structure and a better management system of human capital. Industrial Psychology is able to provide this structure by evaluating and training employee behaviour for the good of the company. More and more managers are realising that Industrial Psychology is vital for business success. The main focus of Industrial Psychology is to evaluate the interaction between people and their jobs. The scope of Industrial Psychologists includes to improve job conditions and organisational dynamics, measure and evaluate job satisfaction and human resource concerns, conduct training needs analysis and in-house psychometrics, conduct performance reviews, as well as measure company productivity and corporate responsibility.

Expected Salary
- Public Sector: Basic starting monthly salary is around RM1,900; plus allowances (such as housing and entertainment) the total can amount to around RM2,200.
- Private Sector: The amount of basic starting monthly salary can vary from the above amount. However, the total amount of monthly salary earned (inclusive of allowances) is subject to negotiation and which can be higher than that earned in the public sector.
