Objective
- to develop Financial Planners who are knowledgeable and competent in practicing Islamic principles in their field of work;
- to develop Financial Planners who are able to comprehend the mechanisms in implementing Islamic disciplines in current scenario, in the areas of business and financial planning;
- to develop Financial Planners who are competitive and are continuously acquiring knowledge through lifelong learning;
- to produce Financial Executives who are capable of imparting information about Islamic banking and finance to a society with diversified cultures and customs; (this sentenced is being rephrased)
- to produce Islamic Financial Planners who are professional and ethical in carrying out their duties, and who fulfill their responsibilities to the Creator, the country and its nation; and
- to produce Financial Planners who think critically about their assessments and actions to enable them to overcome current issues pertaining to Islamic financial planning.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will also be:
- awarded the Certified Islamic Finance Qualification (Banking) or CIFQ (Banking) by Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM);
- awarded the Basic Certificate in Islamic Banking and Takaful or BCIBT by IBFIM; and
- granted exemptions of 5 out of 6 modules for the Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) qualification by IBFIM-FPAM or Financial Planning Association of Malaysia, that is endorsed by the Securities Commission and Bank Negara Malaysia.

Requirements
3 Year-Programme
- Pass STPM with 2 principals or
- Pass matriculation, foundation or pre-university; or
- Diploma from UNIRAZAK with CGPA achievement at least 2.75; or
- Diploma from other Universities with CGPA achievement at least 3.00; or
- Diploma from Polytechnics under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia
- Equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Malaysian Government
4 Year-Programme
- Pass in SPM/SPMV/O-Level with 5 credits including Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

Malaysian Students
Students who enroll into Universiti Tun Abdul Razak Bachelor programmes must fulfill the following English proficiency requirements:
- Students who have a credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take additional English courses, depending on the level of proficiency.
- Students who do not have a credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to undergo the Intensive English Programme.
- Students who have a distinction in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are not required to take additional English courses.
Note: Additional charges will be imposed based on English placement level, in addition to the respective Programme Fee.

Intensive English Programme |
Students who enroll into Universiti Tun Abdul Razak Foundation and Diploma programmes must fulfill the following English proficiency requirements:
- Students are required to take all English courses as listed in the respective programme structures, beginning with English 1(ULC0013) regardless of grade obtained for the English Language subject at the SPM/SPMV level.
International Students
- TOEFL of 550 OR IELTS BAND 6 (for those without TOEFL and IELTS, discussion to offer Intensive English with CLGS will be done accordingly).
- The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is two (2) years from the date of the award.
