Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Product Design Futures

The purpose of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Product Design Futures course is to prepare students for a career in the product design field by providing an educational experience which balances learning essential technical design skills with developing the critical and conceptual capacity of the individual student.

The course also aims to raise student awareness of the evolving role of product designers and the changing context of design practice and to provide students with approaches and strategies enabling a flexible response and to practice and career paths now and in the future.

  The main intakes are conducted in September, January and May of each year.

Entry Requirements

Any one of the following qualifications:

• Pass STPM / GCE ‘A’ Level with 2 principals*;
• Pass relevant Foundation programme/ Matriculation from recognized institutions*;
• Pass relevant Diploma or HND programme from other PHEI with Standard Minimum certified or Accredited with CGPA ≥ 2.00*;
• Pass SMIII (UEC) with minimum 5Bs*;
• Other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government*;

AND pass in Art Education (Pendidikan Seni) in SPM or pass in Interview Test / Drawing Test / Portfolio Test which recongnized by Kolej Universiti Linton for those who did not take Art Education*;

*Subject to verification and approval of Legenda Education Group

English Language Requirements

(For International Students)
All international students from a country in which English is not used as the medium of instruction in formal education are required to meet the following English language requirements:

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or 79 – 80 (iBT)
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum overall Band 6.
• Malaysian University English Test (MUET) : minimum Band 6.

The test must be taken no more than two years before the start of your studies at Legenda.
