This degree is designed to provide you with an understanding of the skills and knowledge required for efficient and successful management of sports and fitness provision. Students will also consider the importance of sports and fitness for the welfare of individuals and groups in society and how management can respond effectively to their needs. Emphasis is placed upon an understanding of how sports, health and fitness resources are effectively and efficiently managed in order to satisfy participation and profit. Management topics include marketing, human resources, finance, economics, legal issues and strategy.
Students with a recognized Diploma in related field will be given advanced standing into the Degree programme.
