part from providing students with a strong academic orientation to the world of commerce and public service, the BA (Hons) Business Management programme will equip them with the practical skills needed in order to become an effective manager of teams and individuals. The programme will enable students to acquire an in-depth understanding of a wide range of business concepts and prepares them for work in a number of general management roles.

This programme places particular emphasis on developing students ability to manage people, so that by the end of the programme they should be able to handle confidently many of the complex interpersonal interactions which take place between members of teams, with clients and with customers. The ability to drive business success and manage people effectively are essential qualifications for becoming a successful manager.

This programme adopts a variety of assessment methods including exams, coursework, essays, presentations, group work and real-life business simulations.

Career Opportunity

The course is aimed primarily at students wishing to enter a finance-related career and many graduates have obtained trainee accountant positions in a variety of organisations locally and internationally. This programme also provides an excellent basis for entry into general management.
