Programme Description
In this programme we educate designers who are also creative thinkers, unconstrained by conventional boundaries of BA (HONS) in Graphic Design programme. We aim to provide students with strong work-related experience and the specific skills demanded by the visual communications industry.

Note:
**Students must satisfy the stipulated English requirement before pursuing the University of Hertfordshire Degree programme at The One Academy.
**Upon completion of the TOA Diploma Programme in the related field, students will be exempted to 2nd year of 3+0 UK Degree Programme. Assessments in academic writing skills and additional semester may be required to satisfy pre-requisites for Degree Studies.

Foundation Year
- Building skills and knowledge to prepare for advanced art & design programmes in Years 1-3.

Year One
- Design thinking.

- Workshops providing hands-on media and software experiences.
- Design process and basic art direction in advertising.
- Workshops providing hands-on media and software experiences (workshops include photography, printmaking, digital painting, desktop publishing software and digital imaging tools).
Year Two
- Culturally, creatively and industrially relevant projects.
- Understanding professional constraints and expectations.
- Live projects.
- Understanding the pitching process and work-related experience.
- Developing design production knowledge.
- Brand identity, brand management and design entrepreneurship.
Year Three
- Addressing a national student design competition, developing ideas and solutions for the award.
- Expanding portfolio.
- Design activities reviewed by industry professionals.
- Develop a subject and format for a professional project aimed at an envisioned career.
