This degree programme equips students with the theoretical foundations within the field of branding and advertising. It simultaneously provides the practical skills needed to effectively manage the job requirements within this field.
Assessment
The assessment includes a comprehensive evaluation through examinations, projects, assignments, and a dissertation in the final year.
Duration and Mode of Study
The minimum duration of study to complete this degree programme is nine (9) semesters. This duration depends on the number of modules undertaken per semester and whether the students pass the modules.

Academic Requirement
- STPM / A-Level: Min. CGPA of 2.00 or Grade C in 2 subjects
- UEC: Min. of B grade in five (5) subjects
- International Baccalaureate: Score of 26/42 from 6 subjects
- South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE): Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects
- Tertiary Entrance Examinations (TEE): Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects
- New South Wales: Higher School Cert (Yr 12): Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects
- Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE) (Yr 12): Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects
- Western Australia Certerficate of Education (WACE) (Yr 12): Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects
- High / Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) / Canadian Grade 12: Pass
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Min. average of 60% in 6 subjects
- Canadian International Matriculation (CIMP): Min. average of 60% in 6 subjects
- Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level: Min. CGPA of 2.85
- National Matriculation (by the Ministry of Education) programme / Foundation / Foundation from the Public Higher Education Institutions / Private Higher Education Institutions: Min. CGPA of 2.00
- Diploma programmes recognised/accredited by the Malaysian government: Min. CGPA of 2.00
- Other relevant/equivalent qualifications recognised/accredited by the Malaysian government: Pass
English Requirements
- A distinction (A+, A or A-) in English Language subject at SPM/UEC level; or MUET Band 5; or a score of 213 (computer-based) / 550 (written-based) / 80 (internet-based) in TOEFL; or Band 5.5 in IELTS.
- In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior or concurrently with undergraduate programme, based on the University’s decision.
*International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but of non-English curriculum, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the Certificate in English programme (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfill the above English requirements prior commencing their studies at the university.
