ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for admission to the postgraduate programmes are as follows:
(a) Doctorate Programmes by Thesis:
(b) Master’s Programme

Bachelor of Science degree with honours or equivalent; or

Bachelor of Science degree with: at least three years or relevant working experience; or proof of publication in a related field; or

professional qualification from a recognized professional body; or

any other qualifications by the Senate
PERIOD OF CANDIDATURE

Doctor of Philosophy :: 4 semester (minimum), 12 semester (maximum)

Master of Science (By Research / By Coursework) :: 2 semester (minimum), 8 semester (maximum)

Master (By Coursework And Dissertation) :: 2 semester (minimum), 8 semester (maximum)
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
The medium of instruction is in English. International students are required to attend and pass a basic course in Bahasa Malaysia before their degree can be conferred. If they intend to write their thesis / dissertation in English, they must possess at least 6 IELTS or a score 550 TOEFL.
