Course structure

The course consists of 12 approved, master’s-level units, of which eight are core and four are electives. The set of core units varies, depending on your background. Additional electives, including electives from the School of Business, are available but subject to change.

Entry requirements

To enter Monash University, students must satisfy particular academic, English language andage requirements.

To apply for the Master of Business Information Systems program in the School of Information Technology, you must have completed:

• an approved three-year bachelor’s degree, or
• qualifications and experience considered by the Faculty Admissions Committee to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for, the above award.

The Master of Business Information Systems at the School of Information Technology is taken over 2 years of full-time or four years of part-time study.
