| Course Structure1. This programme comprises 2 parts which are;
 (1) two (2) core courses, totalling five (5) credit hours for students who have been exempted from ACGB6115 : Critical Strategies in Literature 
OR 
(2) three (3) core courses, totalling seven (7) credit hours, for students who are required to sit for ACGB6115 : Critical Strategies in Literature 
AND 
(3) five (5) elective courses totalling ten (10) credit hours for students in category 2(a) and four (4) elective courses for students in category 2(b) above. 
Candidates must pass Part One (1) before they are able to proceed to Part Two (2).

2. Part Two (2) consists of a research project leading to a submission of a dissertation of about 30,000 words (40 credits hours).
