Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Physics with Scientific Instrumentation
- Field Of Study:
- Science & Mathematics
- Level Of Study:
- Undergraduate
- Course Subject:
- Physics
- Course Intake:
The Applied Physics programme structure would equip graduates with fundamental applied physics science, operational technical skill, manufacturing engineering abilities and knowledge of the social-economic and scientific and technology development worldwide. Graduates would also be ethnically besides scientifically trained to function in multi-faceted society and made aware of legal and moral issues that bound them to the society and industry.
The applied physics programme would also lay the foundation for future applied physics innovators in material sciences, water security and food security and biomedical and healthcare equipment designers for the E&E (semiconductor electronics and electrical), R&D (research and development), S&T (science and technology) sectors under the New Economic Model (NEM, Jun 2010), Government Transformation Programme (GTP, Jan 2010) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP, Mar 2010) that encompass sustainability, and inclusiveness. This Applied Physics programme would further enhance the technological acquisition cycle from the First World through science and technological patronage as well as broad integration with ASEAN, China, and Middle East. (New Economic Model, Jun 2010)
