Objective
This programme provides academic and specialized practical knowledge to prepare students for entry-level positions in the fashion design industry. This programme enables graduating fashion designers to perform competitively within the international fashion industry, combining creative and intellectual approaches to visual-design innovations with strong theoretical and practical elements. It prepares students for positions in the fashion industry from a realistic industrial point of view.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:-
- 5 credits in any subjects
- Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language or minimum Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TARC UC
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with:-
- minimum Grade B in any 3 subjects
- Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TAR UC
- O Level with minimum Grade D in any 5 subjects and pass in English Language.
- Relevant TARC / TAR UC Certificate or other equivalent Certificate accredited by MQA
Academic Progression
On passing Diploma in Fashion Design students will get the opportunity of advance stand in the 2nd year of Bachelor’s Programme.
