Introduction
This program is both multi and interdisciplinary in nature and is focused on agricultural science covering various disciplines in the basic, applied and social sciences. The scope and training place emphasis on biotic, physical and social systems. The program also emphasizes on the sciences and technology of producing and utilization of plantation of agriculture commodities, food agriculture and integrated farming. This program is aimed of producing relevant and professional applied scientist involved in planning, management and research to improve quality and competitiveness of agricultural outputs.
Career Opportunities
Graduates will be able to serve as plantation managers, agricultural officers, college/school instructors, bank officers, research officers, executives in agricultural supplier companies or become agricultural entrepreneurs.
Admission Requirements
- A minimum C Grade at GCE Ordinary (O) level in any two (2) subjects chosen from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics.
- Credits at GCE Advanced (A) level in:
- Mathematics/Additional Mathematics
- One (1) Science subject
- Two (2) other subjects
