The Foundation in Science programme prepares you for admission into a Science-related degree. You will be equipped with solid fundamental knowledge and skills to pursue study in the field of Health Sciences.
The Foundation in Science certificate is also an exit certificate course that enables you to apply directly to other universities in Malaysia.
Students will be introduced to various active learning methodologies such as problem-based learning, group discussions and projects, helping our students develop academically in areas like study skills, presentation skills, research skills and time management, which are all prerequisites for academic success. This will further enhance their critical and analytical skills, preparing them for the demands of the workplace.
Assessment of individual courses consists of 2 components:
The continuous course work component comprises different tasks such as projects, assignments, laboratory work, presentations and tests assigned throughout each semester. The final examination is conducted at the end of each semester. The assessments are subject to quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards and ensure fair assessment.
