Programme Description
This Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS)’s programme is customized to meet the aspirations of students who wish to pursue a medical degree by providing them an alternative pathway through our Diploma level instead of the traditional STPM or Matriculation qualifications. Arrangements have been established with some foreign universities to accept our Diploma student to take up a medical degree after their graduation.
AUCMS is also actively working to tie-up with more universities to have a similar arrangement. Alternatively, theDiploma students can enrol in our own medical degree which is MD AUCMS. Other options available include pursuing a degree in disciplines such as nursing and pharmacy.
Entry Requirements
Pass in SPM / SPMV with a minimum of 3 credits with one subject must be science based.

- To have the ability to apply scientific approach and critical thinking to problem solving and decision making.
- To have the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team with integrity and enthusiasm and to assume a leadership role when appropriate.

Various attractive pathways are available to graduates of this programme. The diploma course is specially created as a recognized entry programme into a medical degree either in local or international institutions. The diploma programme is appealing to students who wish to gain a sound footing in achieving medical knowledge and skills before they enter a medical programme. The programme also provides graduates to gain entry into other allied health sciences degree by choosing from a various disciplines like nursing, pharmacy or physiotherapy. Graduates can gain employment in hospitals both in the public or private sectors by working as a research assistant. Alternatively, they can even pursue their career in promoting medical equipments to the health and medical related sectors.
