Finance is the study of financial and capital markets and is concerned with making decisions, and informing an organisations decision makers, on the best course of action for the financial profit and security of the organisation. These decisions will typically be related to investment decisions, financial decisions, interest rates, exchange rates and other monetary uncertainties.

The SEGi University Bachelor of Business Management (Hons) in Financial Management programme is multidisciplinary and provides students with a solid foundation in aspects of business while also detailing the important practical and theoretical principles of the finance, including portfolio management, financial institutions and markets, multinational business finance, business modeling, accounting, economics, data analysis, management and personal professional skills, .

The programme is designed to prepare students to plan, manage and analyse the financial, monetary and performance aspects of organisations. The programme also aims to further develop students intellectual, social and personal development by improving their communication skills as well as their creative and decision making skills.
