Programme Description
The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (B.ScEH) degree provides entry level as full time and part time basis for individuals employed in the field of Environmental Health and the relevant skill in Government and private sector. The curriculum prepares the student for a post as Environmental Health Officer in Government and Industries.
The four years course full time and six years for part time student are designed for student pursuing careers in Environmental Management, Occupational Safety with emphasis on industrial training, regulatory compliance , program development in Environmental pollution, prevention, recycling, remediation and conservation.
The universities have close understanding for sending student for industrial training with government agencies – Ministry Of Health Malaysia, Ministry Of Local Authorities, Ministry Of Human Resources (occupational Safety And Health), Indah Water Consortium (sewerage Treatment), Oil Industries and etc
- Full time 4 years (8 Semester)
- Part time 6 years (12 Semester)
Entry Requirements
- Pass STPM/Matriculation /A Level /Pre University or its equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.5O in subject of Biology/Physic /Chemistry and
- 5 credit at SPM Level, 3 of which in Biology/Physic/Mathematics,Chemistry . or
- Related Diploma from recognized institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or
- Related Diploma from recognized institution with CGPA below than 2.75 and a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in the same field. English Proficiency for foreign Students. Candidates should have IELTS(6..0) TOEFL (550) Base or equivalent.
