Programme Description
Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing or BBA (H) Marketing programme offered by Allianze University College of Medical Science (AUCMS) is specifically designed to equip students with good and strong business and good grounding in marketing principles and application.
Students will be equipped with basic knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Computing, English, Economics and others, thereafter strengthen with strong major marketing components such as Sales Management, Health Care Marketing, Service Marketing and others that will enhance as well as expose students to various marketing industry needs in the real world environment.
At the end of the course, students will be able to acquire good marketing knowledge and exposure in marketing studies. Students will also acquire skills developed during their practical training to further develop their future career in the industry. They will be able to communicate unique marketing mixes and selling propositions for specific products offerings and also the ability to formulate marketing strategies that incorporates psychological and sociological factors that may influence customers.
Courses of study
The BBA (Hons) Marketing is a fulltime programme offered over 3 year period. The subjects are designed and planned specifically to provide students with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in marketing before pursuing their career. In fact this programme is unique as it incorporates also the subject of Healthcare Marketing which will be an added advantage for students wishing to join the billion dollars’ worth healthcare/medical industry.
This AUCMS bachelor degree programme is a stepping stone for students to join the work industry as well as to further their academic achievement to do Master or MBA programmes available at AUCMS.
Entry Requirements
Passed / Minimum CGPA 2.00:
- STPM / A Level: 2 principal passes in 2 subjects; or
- AUCMS Foundation in Business Studies / Related Foundations / KPT’s Matriculation; or iii. AUCMS Diploma or other related Diplomas; or
- SAM / CPU / MUFP (Minimum C Grade in 3 subjects) / UEC (with B grade in 5 subjects); or
- Other qualifications as approved by the Malaysian Government.
International students are to have IELTS minimum Band 5.0 or TOEFL score of 550.
