This course offers knowledge and experience of the technology that lies at the heart of modern society. It covers information technology concepts, the practical operation of hardware and software, and the awareness of how computers affect our work, home and leisure activities.

You will acquire a solid foundation in the theory and application of all aspects of computing, together with the fundamentals of programming. The disciplines are based on real-world industry requirements and will enable you to get the relevant skills and experience valued by today’s high-tech employers. You also enjoy the freedom to combine your interests in computing with other areas of study and application with an in-depth study in a specialized area of application.

• Local Student: Credit (SPM / 1119 / UEC / GCE O Level examination) / Min. score of Band 4 in MUET
• International Student: Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL

If English language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at KDU UC.
