This course equips you for further studies across a range of science-and engineering-related areas such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, photonics, or telecommunication and internet technologies. It will allow you to develop fundamental communication, IT and mathematics skills and to select foundation studies streams in areas such as physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics and computer programming.
The course provides a direct entry into Swinburne Sarawak degree courses for students who have completed SPM/‘O’ Levels or equivalent qualification.
The units of study are subject to change in 2014.
For students who have completed SPM/‘O’ levels or equivalent qualification, this course program provides direct entry into the degree program in the Sarawak campus.
You can also progress into Bachelor degree programs in science, computer science and engineering at Hawthorn campus, if you complete the program with the required marks and prerequisite units.
With further studies, graduates are equipped for careers in areas such as engineering, biotechnology, computer-systems design, management, manufacturing, medicine, network administration, telecommunications and transport.
