The Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is a four-year programme that provides you with a unique opportunity of studying in Malaysia and the UK. The programme puts you on the right track for a successful pharmacy career. After finishing your degree, you will spend a salaried year in pharmacy practice (known as pre-registration training) before sitting the accrediting body’s registration exam.

The Foundation in Science enables direct progression to the undergraduate degrees offered within the Faculty of Science. This rigorous programme provides students with a strong academic background that will result in enhanced language, mathematics, critical thinking and study skills.
Students on this programme also chose from a range of elective modules that provide the opportunity to sample topics related to their chosen undergraduate pathway such as chemistry, ecology, computer programming or psychology.
For entry into the MPharm course, Foundation in Science
students must fulfill the progression rules. Students should have an average pass mark of 65% in the Foundation in Science programme, with a minimum of 60% in all chemistry module. Students must also fulfill the English language requirement for the MPharm course.
Research Project – 40 or 60 credit options
Optional modules from within and outside of the School of Pharmacy may be selected if you undertake the 40-credit project option.
