Foundation Studies in Built Environment programme prepares students for both the working environment and as a launching platform for further studies. This programme is aimed at introducing students to the construction world and to further develop and equip them with related technical skills.
The course combines both theory and practice in related fields within the construction industry. Students will be gradually exposed to basic trades and engineering aspects of construction to establish a stronger foundation both in their career and educational advancement.

The main intakes are conducted in December (Short semester), March (Long semester) and July (Long semester) of each year.

60% examination, 40% coursework
Entry Requirements
Any one of the following qualifications:
- Pass SPM / SPMV / GCE ‘O’ Level with minimum 5 credits including Mathematics and ONE (1) Science / Technical / Vocational subject AND pass in English;
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government*.

English Language Requirements
(For International Students)
All international students from a country in which English is not used as the medium of instruction in formal education are required to meet the following English language requirements:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or 79 – 80 (iBT)
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum overall Band 6.
- Malaysian University English Test (MUET) : minimum Band 6.
The test must be taken no more than two years before the start of your studies at Legenda.
