A graduate of this course can:

1. apply knowledge of core commercial concepts to a range of financial, managerial, operational and human resource tasks

2. think critically or reflectively to analyse problems and generate solutions in simple business-oriented tasks

3. use research skills to access, evaluate and synthesise business information for academic tasks

4. communicate effectively in oral presentations and group discussions and in academic written work

5. use technology concepts and skills applicable to the tertiary learning environment

6. apply self-directed learning strategies within the tertiary learning environment

7. understand core economic principles and their role in the global market

8. recognise and respect the cultural diversity of Malaysia; understand the history of the formation of Malaysia, the main components of its government and the main issues facing its society

9. begin to apply business ethics and leadership qualities in an academic context
