The Foundation in Science programme prepares students for admission into Science related degrees in INTI. It is designed to equip students with a solid fundamental knowledge of their field of study, which includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English & Basic Computing.
Students will be introduced to various active learning methodologies such as problem based learning, group discussions & projects,to help our students develop academically in areas such as study skills, presentation skills, research skills & time management, which are all prerequisites for academic success. This will further enhance the critical and analytical skills of our students, preparing them for the demanding work place.
Assessment of individual courses consists of 2 components:
The continuous course work component comprises different tasks such as projects, assignments, laboratory work, presentations and tests assigned throughout each semester. The final examination is conducted at the end of each semester. The assessments are subject to quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards and ensure fair assessment.
