ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

GENERAL

  • A Master Degree in Physiotherapy or its equivalent from related disciplines with minimum CGPA of 3.0

OR

  • Candidates currently registered for Master Degree at KPJUC may opt to convert their registration after a year to the Doctoral level and acknowledged by the Academic Committee of the School of Health Sciences with approval from the University College Senate

THE COURSE AT A GLIMPSE

Doctor of Philosophy in Physiotherapy provides graduates with a comprehensive, integrated course in the theory and practice of physiotherapy to assess, diagnose and treat disorders of human movement.

This programme is designed to meet the current and future needs of students, patients and the changing nature of the health workforce.  The course prepares graduates for the changing roles of the physiotherapist in areas such as chronic disease management, health promotion and prevention, emergency medicine, acute care and private practice.
