Learning outcome
The tables below shows a brief outline of the outcome of this program.
Academic year | Intended outcome |
First year | Exposure to the basics of Computer science and Software Engineering. Practical approach to programming, problem solving, architecture and organization of computers and the fundametals of mathematics and logic for for Computer Science students. |
Second year | Exposure of the disciplines of Computer Science at an analytical level. Emphasis is focused on problem solving and optimization in terms of processing engine and inter-system interface design. Attention is also given to the development and design of database systems, documentation and development of systems, web programming and math courses at a more intermediate level. |
Third year | Emphasis is put on the data communication and operating systems of computers. The main objective is completed with the development of Project Tahun Akhir (Final Year Project) which requires students to be more independent in producing a complete application. It is implemented in integrating the skills acquired by students in the form of writing and presentation. At the end of the semester, qualified students will undergo Industrial Training in the industrial sector whereas the rest will be enrolled in activities similar to Industrial Training carried out at computer labs of FSKKP. |
