The Diploma in Network Technology is a two and a half years programme designed to provide essential computer network knowledge for students. The programme focuses on developing basic skills to equip students with adequate knowledge in IT & networking, competencies in Windows and Linux server operating system. For the first year, students will learn about the PC Competency, Fundamentals of Database, Basic Programming, Basic Networking and Client OS. This is followed by knowledge enhancement in RDMS, Network OS, PC Hardware, LAN Switching & Wireless Network, Server Security and Windows Server Network Infrastructure in the second year. On completion, students should be able to provide technical support for user desktops, local area networks, and client-server operating system. |

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
