Programme Description
The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is specially designed to equip students with extensive theoretical knowledge and relevant practical skills in clinical laboratory work such as biochemical analysis of blood and body fluids, detection of blood diseases, conduct blood transfusion testing, detection and diagnosis of infectious diseases, preparation of microscopic slides of tissues for pathologists� examination.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have SPM/SPMV/O-Level/UEC, according to specific requirements as stated below:
- For Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) programme, a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required Or a pass in UEC with 1 B and minimum C for Science, Mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia and English
- For Occupational Therapy programme, a credit in Science and a pass in Mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia and English is required
- For Physiotherapy Programme, a credit in Science or Sport Science is required with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- For Nursing programme, 5 credits inclusive of Mathematics and Science, a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required
- For Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy programmes, candidates should not have any disabilities that may affect their studies or future employment
