Objective
Media studies Students will critically analyse the forms of mass communication and be more discerning in their consumption of media content through print and electronic media. This will assist them to be responsible and knowledgeable produces of information in both the public and private sectors, locally and internationally.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:-
- 5 credits in any subjects
- Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language or minimum Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TARC UC
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with:-
- minimum Grade B in any 3 subjects
- Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TAR UC
- O Level with minimum Grade D in any 5 subjects and pass in English Language.
- Relevant TARC / TAR UC Certificate or other equivalent Certificate accredited by MQA
Academic Progression
On passing Diploma in Mass Communication (Media Studies) students will get the opportunity of advance stand in the 2nd year of Bachelor’s Programme.
