Objective
The tourism industry in Malaysia is one of the fastest growing industries with significant contributions to the national economy. As this sector grows, there will be a greater emphasis and commitment to expand and improve tourism products and services.
This programme will involve students in context of the travel-related business, such as marketing, foreign languages and convention and meeting management. Special emphasis is placed on the development of interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:-
- 5 credits in any subjects
- Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language or minimum Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TARC UC
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with:-
- minimum Grade B in any 3 subjects
- Grade C in AELE0364 English Language (1119 Level) conducted by TAR UC
- O Level with minimum Grade D in any 5 subjects and pass in English Language.
- Relevant TARC / TAR UC Certificate or other equivalent Certificate accredited by MQA
Academic Progression
On passing Diploma in Hospitality Management (Tourism) students will get the opportunity of advance stand in the 2nd year of Bachelor’s Programme.
