Introduction
Business today is complex, and it calls for minds that are trained in the broad fundamentals of business. DBS (T) started in November 2003. However the business fundamentals in the programme originated from the general DBS which started much earlier in 1963. This programme also prepares students for the bachelor level in transport. In addition, they can proceed to other various specialized degree studies. During the 6 semesters, a wide range of courses are covered which includes accounting, economics management, mathematics, language, law, IT and of course, transport.
Entry Requirement
SPM/SPVM or its equivalent with credits in English, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia
Program Availability
Beginning June 2004 this programme will only be offered in Segamat Campus, UiTM
Assessment
Candidates are continuously assessed based on tests, assignments, term papers, class seminars and final examinations.

Holders of this diploma can proceed directly into the third semester of the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Transport or any other specialized areas at the Faculty of Business Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK recognizes this programme and confers graduates the Member of Logistics and Transport (MILT) upon approval of membership. The CILT will also award exemptions up to 6 out of 9 courses of the Professional Qualifying Examination.
