Tourism is the world’s biggest and fastest growing industry. The travel and hospitality industry constitutes 10% of the world’s GDP and is a major source of foreign exchange earnings and employment. The hospitality and tourism industries are very people oriented.
The HELP Bachelor of Tourism Management (Hons) program is designed to produce graduates with an in-depth grasp of concepts and perspectives in the tourism industry. It is industry focused so that graduates can function effectively as active professionals and are able to promote tourism at different levels – local and worldwide.

A total of 4 electives must be taken over Year 2 and Year 3, of which one must be chosen from the Year 3 list.
Assessment:
Students are assessed continously through class quizzes, exams, assignments, case studies and group or individual projects throughout the program.

- Written examination approximately 60%
Entry Requirements
- HELP Foundation in Arts/ Foundation in Science
- 2 STPM Principal / A-Level passes
- 5Bs in Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
- 5 CPU passes with a minimum average of 50%
- 5 SAM/ TEE examination passes with a university aggregate of 50%
- Equivalent qualification
and
3 SPM/ ‘O’ Level credits
and
a pass in Bahasa Melayu (for Malaysians only)
