Introduction
Chemical principles form the basis for most of the process and the product. Accordingly, this program is designed to prepare graduates to meet industry and is able to carry out industry-oriented projects. Graduates are generally equipped with knowledge in the areas of unit operations and chemical processes, basic chemistry, mathematics and statistics, policies and training in the areas of environment, health and safety, and process control systems and instrumentation laboratory to help graduates understand the operation of the modern chemical industry.

After graduation, many jobs can be selected either in the private sector and the government where they can apply knowledge of chemistry and extensive problem solving techniques. As a graduate of this program, graduates to enter a variety of open positions in industries such as agrochemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, geochemistry, and mineralogy of metal, oil and gas, health and nutrition, medicine, manufacturing and energy production. They can also work in sectors such as engineering, education, technical writing, computer software and equipment, government policies and acts, forensic science and industry laboratories.
