This programme aims to train the students to become competent Mechanical Engineer with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for a engineering career in industry or research.
Specifically, this programme is designed to give students the opportunity to:
- Educate Mechanical Engineering student to be competent engineer in the working environment.
- Promote an active interest in Mechanical Engineering and encourage the students to respond to changes and developments within the profession.
- Provide knowledge and understanding of current theories and developments in Mechanical Engineering.
- Enhance students’ understanding of the design and management processes relevant to Mechanical Engineering.
- Provide students with an understanding of the importance of professionalism, management and problem solving techniques.
- Allow progression in career and educational development giving opportunities to study for a post graduate level.

Entry Requirements
Any one of the following qualifications:
- Pass STPM with a full pass (minimum Grade C) in the subjects of Mathematics and Technical Science AND pass SPM or its equivalent with at least a pass in English;
- Pass ‘A’ Level with a full pass in the subjects of Mathematics and Technical Science;
- Pass relevant Matriculation programme from institutions recognized by Malaysian Government with CGPA ≥ 2.0*;
- Pass relevant Foundation programme from Kolej Universiti Linton or other institutions recognized by Malaysian Government with CGPA ≥ 2.0*;
- Pass relevant Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) programme in Engineering / Engineering Technology from institutions recognized by Malaysian Government with CGPA ≥ 2.0*;
- Recognised related Vocational and Technical / Skills Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.0 AND a pass in English at SPM level*;
- Other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government*;
*Subject to verification and approval of Legenda Education Group
English Language Requirements
(For international students only)
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with minimum overall Band 6; or
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with minimum score of 550; or
- Cambrige or Edexcel GCE ‘A’ Level; or
- Equivalent intensive English course conducted by Kolej Universiti Linton.
